Today I saw two of them and it was really annoying.
So I typed into google, ‘Are Americans loud’, you know, confirmation bias and everything, and found Quora-writer-people types saying yeah they are, and this quote:
As a Northern Irish European who quite regularly comes across travellers from the USA the volume difference is very clearly noticeable but what comes across as even stranger is that lots of Americans do not seem to either censor or limit anything they say. To the more reserved European mentality it looks like many Americans need to express every single thought that comes into their mind, and express it loudly and with no awareness of of those around them.
