Art & Copy will show up at a few fringe events alongside the Photo Phnom Penh Festival, set to take place from October 22 to November 22.
Contemporary and historical photography is their theme, and we’ll be sharing some photozines that take inspiration from right here where we live. Discover our version of making photos and celebrating the city, in small miniparty popups where guests can interact, connect, meet our community of artists and writers and friends of Design Kompany through small-scale conversation parties. It’s for people who like the smaller, less dramatic side of art festivals but still want to be ‘in the scene.’ That’s what we do, around here. Art & Copy popped up at Art Week in Singapore and did a few workshops there earlier this year (January) and showed up again at Cary’s Lazy Daze festival (this is North Carolina) and San Francisco Zine Festival, too, with rooftop and zine library miniature conversations with guests who ‘booked’ time to meet us. This was fun. This was a way for us to share our low-key, low-fi, low-scale distribution conversations-as-artefacts in ‘zines’. Our club’s work to date is here: kismuth.com/zineclub2026.
