What are you making?
Design, poetry, writing, and co-creation. These are the elements of Atelier S P A C E. Atelier S P A C E is a popup, roving international workshop to make zines, on the spot, with the creative people whom our team discovers when we just… show up to see what happens. Sometimes, it’s fascinating and we stay put for a while. That’s what’s happening in HCMC.
Atelier S P A C E | Hồ Chí Minh has been going from September 2020, and we are making new things like art books, limited-edition zines, notebooks, and popup art shows. This project is a co-creation. It’s made by both DK Creative Director Dipika Kohli and art directed by HCM-based chef-photographer Văn Trần. Other members of the team are currently in training and we will be able to announce the new collaborators, in December. See meet up details for information about how to be part of this. First step is to… show up! More here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/atelier-s-p-a-c-e-members-meeting-tickets-127283934675
Atelier S P A C E // HCMC…
Atelier S PA C E is being crowdfunded at the moment. The page where you can find out more about that is here:
It’s emerging what will become of this, like all projects in S P A C E. Those who join us on the projects like ‘Papers’ and who subscribe to our e-mag, or join real life events, are each in their own ways directly contributing to what’s coming into shape right here, on the ground, where we are. Support our efforts to bring out all-new styles of: conversation salons, popup art installations, and co-created issues of S P A C E with creative talents in Hồ Chí Minh. It’s already starting, with small early prototypes. (Ask me for the one-pager). So far, so good.
