Learning how to define success is a personal journey, and one that, I think, many of us have to grapple with at some point in our lives if we’re on ‘paths to success’ or told we ought to be. You were supposed to ‘make it,’ quote unquote be a bazillionnaire, and yet, somehow, there are times when some of us stop and go, ‘Wait. Did I want this?’ I remember so many peers coming back in life asking me questions about my choices, all the things I’d done, all the regrets I had. All of that in personal sharings that came together after ten, twenty years. It wasn’t easy to talk about all that, and I didn’t, mostly, because that’s all beside the point. Knowing yourself is where it starts, in my opinion. There were peopel who didn’t want to hear that and kind of even got mad at me for saying so, so I stopped sharing out loud what I think about everythign related to this age-old question. What is succ

Wish I could embed it right here but for some reason unknown to me it is blocked, in Cambodia. So is the Cambodia Daily, for what it’s worth. Interesting how people I talk with sometimes in China can’t access even more other stuff. But is it interesting? What’s ‘free media’, anyways, now?
