Funded by crowdfunding, the mini-mag S P A C E continues in its sixth year with a series focused on Phnom Penh. We are here. We are making. Atelier S P A C E is a small team convened by DK’s Dipika Kohli and Saigon- and Phnom Penh-based Studio La’s Quan Nguyen. Together in Saigon and Phnom Penh, virtually and occasionally in real life, they host meet-ups for others interested in the l0-fi style of networking and discovery to meet, share, laugh, eat, drink and meaningfully converse. This is the big, ultimate aim of S P A C E: to bridge the new and different.
Post-pandemic, we are focused much less on big events, like our past salons and roundtables, and more on small-scale meets with the same groups over time so that we can cultivate deeper relationships. Thanks for asking, and more when ready. Let us know, in the comments or through the email form here, if you have questions.

This blog post started me thinking about this. This issue aims to be a collection of opinions, which we will invite from those who have spent a long time working and can comment on the tendency for people to move in groups or fight over ‘turf’. Turfism is a real deterrent to true collaboration. Innovation can’t happen with it. So we want to explore and break it down: why does this happen? How can we become aware of the big-ticket issues that block us from reaching across the aisles, to to speak, in the various sectors and move away from scarcity mindsets? It’s an opportunity to discover, discuss. Let’s try. No ads for this issue. - S P A C E | October 18, ‘Lost’

December themes will be shared closer to that month. It is emerging, based on advertisers and the people who show up for the conversations in our events. More to share. More to say. More to make. Ask me anything. Send press releases. Talk to me about your ideas. Share what you think S P A C E could be; we are curious and open to discovering as we go. It’s iterative.
