It is a bigger international conversation, as Atelier S P A C E is a popup, roving international workshop to make something new and original out of stories discovered on the spot, with the people whom our team meets. Together, we observe. Take notes. And report the most authentic stories we feel. Sharing those, in S P A C E. A weekly e-mag. S P A C E began in Battambang, Cambodia, in Sept. 2017. Just back from a tour of Japan.

Why zines? In an age where the internet can confuse and lie to us, real life conversation parties hosted by DK and the ‘zines’ (xeroxed short publications we make ourselves and give our friends) that we make together help. They ground us. They give us a tangible grip on the *here and now*, and remind us that at the end of the day, *we* get to create and write our own stories: the stories of our lives, the stories that remind us who we are.
